DIRECTOR OF MEETINGS AND EVENTS The Wyoming Bankers Association (WBA), the trade association for Wyoming banks, is looking for a full-time, proactive and resourceful Director of Meetings and Events to work with us in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Our Director of Meetings and Events will collaborate with our team to provide our members with exceptional education, events, customer service and support. You do not need to have experience in banking, but you do need a positive attitude and be able to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and excellence. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific job duties include, but are not limited to) - Manage all education and meeting needs for the Association, including managing a demanding schedule.
- Develop a comprehensive annual professional development plan that includes conferences, seminars, webinars, development programs, meetings and other related events.
- Work with established banker committees to plan and execute annual conferences. Develop marketing and promotional strategies for events.
- Prepare project budget for each event, monitor revenue and expenses, and take corrective action to meet financial goals.
- Conduct evaluations of meetings and events, incorporating the results into future plans.
- Oversee educational webpages on the Association’s Collaborate on-line community
- Record minutes at WBA board meetings.
- Performs additional duties as required.
